On our visit to Thailand, we wanted to interact with elephants and other wildlife in an ethical way. My teen daughter had heard about WFFT through animal rescue shows on television, and was eager to see it. Interesting to me, our Thai hosts had never heard of it. We opted for the full day tour (totally worth it). It was... More

Really impressed with this place and their service of picking you up and dropping you off where needed. Many interesting animals and the volunteers and carers seem to genuinely know them and have much information about not only the species but the individual animals. Really exciting and a wonderful experience that was one of our most memorable experiences in all... More

Edwin and his team, particularly Jamie and Lily gave us the most spectacular day, with inspiring stories of the animals they are caring for. They educated us on the threats to wildlife and the cruelty of the tourist industry, particularly to elephants. Amazing cause and worth supporting.

I cannot think of anyone who would not enjoy this experience, especially if you are an animal lover. You get a totally unique view of the animals - as close as possible to their environment in the wild. The foundation is very true to its principles and clearly concerned with what is best for the animals. You get to see... More

We visited at the end of November. What an incredible job the volunteers are doing. They are so dedicated. If you want to be hands on with the Elephants with the Elephants this is the place. Our guide was Lilly and she was so informative and professional. You get the history of how the animals came to be there and... More

We just had an unforgettable day at the foundation. We hadn't read any reviews before going we booked via our hotel evason outside hua hin. We were really lucky on 2 counts it wasn't particularly hot and was extremely quiet with only 2 of us on the tour (apparently there had been 30 the day before) so we got to... More

Our favorite part about traveling southeast Asia! Such a WONDERFUL sanctuary with great staff and volunteers. We did the full day experience and loved every moment. We were picked up promptly at our hotel in Bangkok by a super kind driver, and arrived right on time for the tour. We learned SO much about all of the issues animals face... More

Absolutely worth a day trip, though I wish I had discovered this place sooner as I would have loved to do an overnight stay or volunteer for a week. They are doing amazing work rescuing animals that have been neglected or abused (mainly for exploitation by tourists), and giving them a wonderful life, full of caring people. On a full... More

We were picked up from our hotel and the picked up others passionate about caring for animals from other hotels in Hua Hin. It was interesting to watch the documentaries whilst discussing holiday itineraries with our fellow travellers. It was awesome to see our first 2 rescue elephants as soon as we got off the minibus and the complimentary coffin... More
