We were impressed by the peace within this building & the way it is maintained to a high standard. There are two portraits of the Wesleys in the entrance to church. Well worth a visit.

John Wesley and his family worshiped here. The ladies of the church served a lovely lunch and had a table of local crafts. For a group, they would provide this for you too.

I was aware of the Wesley connection. Passing by, I was pleased to find the church open. It is immaculate within. Lots of material to view and ponder about. Recommended.

Wonderful to see the gardens of the church so attractively presented and accessible for use by visitors and locals. Pleasing supply of seating in both sunshine and shade. All the more important and invaluable because of its position on the High Street. Church always open.

The church stands well back from the road on the edge of interesting village. It is a fine example of Victorian architecture although more ornate than is customary. It has a rather dark interior but is full of fascinating period features.

Truly welcomed to this church. Lovely to look around. Nice little garden surrounding it. Well worth a visit to see where the Wesleyan preached. We were even offered a cup of tea and asked if we would like to stay for the service

Not quite what you might expect from a Wesleyan Chapel in that it is quite ornate inside. Very traditionally built in the Victorian period though. No one to show you round but the gardens are pleasant.
