I took my Mother out on a kayak tour for her 85th birthday. They were more than accommodating for our last minute spontaneous booking. Emily helped our confidence, ensured our safety as well as taught us many new things about Kayaking and the amazing intertidal life. Thank you Pender Island Kayak Adventures! You made my moms decade!

My partner and I took our 1 and half year old daughter kayaking for the first time over Family Day Weekend. We were instantly at ease. Emily, our guide, was super knowledgable, explained everything to us, and had an easy going disposition. She catered the kayaking time to how well our daughter was doing : ) She showed as some... Jay and Emily from Pender Island Kayak Adventures have taken our whole family out several times, including on an exciting channel crossing to Saturna Island. Their care and expertise put us at ease and .... our kids love them! I am also taking Paddle Canada Skill Certification through Jay. So great to have such a high class guiding company here... More

We had an amazing first time kayaking with our guide Emily from Pender Island Kayak Adventure. We were greeted by Emily and Jay who fitted us with proper life jackets, for our toddler as well, and ran through safety and technic before getting to the water. Once on the water Emily took it slow at the beginning so I could... More

While traveling Canada by myself I was interested in a tour company that was flexible and willing to see a little bit of everything in one day. Jay was very accommodating and communicated really well about possible routes we could take. On the day we kayaked from North to South Pender Island. Stopped of in Skull Islet and hiked to... More

My sister and I have been kayaking with this awesome organization for over three years and love getting to work with Jay and his leaders. We love how patient and encouraging jay was with us. He walked us through each step, and even though we have gone on several 3-5 day adventures, we both can see how much catheter is... More

My sister, daughter and I booked a four-hour paddle and it was so great. Jay met us with kayaks, paddles and gear, a lesson in how to paddle efficiently, and we were off. We paddled around Hope Bay and then along the coast to Browning Harbour, with a little detour to Mortimer Spit. Being out on the water on such... More

I just rented a few boats off Jay (owner). I was previously a sea kayak guide but had never kayaked in this area. Jay's insight saved us a lot of hassle and insured we got the local experience. With his relaxed demeanor and his obvious passion for sea kayaking I have no doubt his expertise would translate into fantastic guided... More

We went on a 4 hour harbor trip with Alison. She was a great guide - found lots of hidden wildlife, let us set the pace, gave us tips when we asked for them. She was very friendly and happy to chat or let us do our own thing. The boats were in great shape and everything worked well. We'd... More

We booked last minute a two hour trip for my wife and out seven year old and Jay accommodated us with a fantastic and knowledgeable guide, Allison, who took us all around the gorgeous bay where Browning Point is located and we saw 15 or so seals and their pups, kelp crabs (spooky!) and anemones and star fish. The pace... More
