Amazing lake on the mountain. At one point from the road you can see lake Ontario far below and the lake on the mountain on the right. Worth a trip if you are nearby.

Interesting, but nothing there but a few old picnic tables and public washrooms there is an inn nearby but if you are interested in the lake itself, there is a small viewing bridge and not much else. We stayed all of 15 minutes. Disappointing

This is a must see in PEC. The views are stunning and there are a few places to eat and enjoy them. Do not miss this if you go!

We only really drove by the lake when we were heading to another winery, but it was a pretty mindblowing moment. You could see the Lake on the Mountain, but also the like at ground level in the distance, which was just crazy.

Nice to read the explanation how this become a lake. Quite surroundings with, having the lake at your back, very nice view over several bays. You can also see the Glenora Ferry.

I did not see a boat launch but then again I didn't go around the whole lake. It's easily walkable from the parking lot.

there are number of swimming areas....and yes I am pretty sure you can swim at lake on the mountain as they also have cottage rentals. No motorized boats are allowed on the lake,.
