The Wild Pacific Trail is located in Ucluelet and is a seven phase trail system skirting the rugged cliffs and shoreline of the west coast of Vancouver Island. Overlooking Barkley Sound and the Broken Group Islands to the east and the open Pacific Ocean to the south and west, it offers spectacular shoreline panoramas and seaward vistas through ancient cedar and spruce-framed viewing platforms constructed on the best headlands along the route.

Stunning scenery!

Incredibly beautiful place. My family and I went for a run on the trails and really enjoyed the dramatic shoreline.

I walked the 2.6km loop near the Amphitrite Lighthouse. It was a fantastic walk. The trail is well done, but does have alot of up and down small hills. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon when I did the walk by myself. This trail gives you many viewing points and I noticed quite a few benches. For those wanting to... More

Beautiful and easy walk with lots of pullouts to take the scenic pictures. This is a must if it's rain or sunshine. The views are spectacular. Expect to be there for a few hours to fully enjoy it all.

Stunning walk along well-kept tracks next to the dramatic shoreline. Plenty of places to linger and marvel at the huge surf. Highly-recommended

Get a. Real feeling of the Wild West Coast. This is the open Pacific and less travelled than the beach walk of the Pacific Rim Parks. Good walking shoes or boots useful depending on weather but pretty easy walk. Bring some snacks and have a picnic. Nice stop is to go into the lovely resort ,Black Rock. Wonderful location. Dress... Very easy to do. Nicer if you are a group. As there were wild animals seen nearby and to be on the lookout.

There is a lovely light house at the beginning of the trail and most of the trail is an easy walk. If you choose there are stairs down to the beach and you can beachcomb... More

Lots of ocean views, good example of west coast weather. It can be wet and blustery so dress accordingly. But well worth it. And we got to come back to the Snug Harbour Inn and its hot tub, which helped with the chill!
