Easily accessible from Whistler. There are three lakes, the first just a few minutes walk from the car park. The walk to the third passes waterfalls and provides opportunities for rest stops. The trail has been recently graded so makes for an easy hike, however good footwear is recommended. It is a very popular hike so get there early to... More

Awsome beautiful a touch off heaven. If you love the out doors this is the place to Vista in all four seasons. My niece has visited in the summer and the water is aqua blue.

Large glaciated terrain surrounds Joffre Lakes and makes for some of the best ski touring on the Duffey. Many people approach from the road and do day objectives with light packs while others prefer to camp near the lakes for the weekend or get dropped by a heli early in the morning to ski tour the high country before skiing... Banff and Jasper (Canadiab Rockies) are known for their beauty, but there are mountains and lakes just as beautiful near Penticton, in a short drive from Vancouver.

It was bloody cold when we first got there, but after you start moving and get the blood pumping it's fine. There are so many spots to get some great pictures! The climb is medium level difficulty and certainly with a few breaks, you can make it no problem. If it's going to be an overcast day, pack extra clothes!... More

This has got to be one of the most beautiful provincial Parks anywhere in Canada. They only trouble I see is that it is becoming way too popular with the crowds of people that drive up here from Vancouver and the Fraser Valley during the summertime. There is often no place to park in the lot and vehicles lined up... More

We went to 2 of the 3 lakes because of lack of time. It was very though but all worth the efforts. The surroundings and views are the most beautifull we ever saw. The incredible turquoise colored lakes (especially Middle Lake !) are amazing. Definite a must see and do. You may not miss this place !

We only visited the lower lake as we were travelling from Whistler to Kamloops and had already stopped off at a couple of places. Easy path down to the lake and stunning views right from the end of the path. Not to be missed

This was a beautiful fall hike. A moderate hike, level, well groomed trails up to the first two lakes. Aqua colored water, and tonnes of whisky jack birds at second lake which land on your hand, so bring bread or crackers. There is an outhouse at second lake (it was horrible, only use if absolutely necessary!), the hike from second... More
