The hike is about a mile, maybe more, through a forest (very shaded) of large trees. There are a number of times you need to climb a little, so not for those who have difficulty walking. The end is a large rock formation, which you...More

Enjoy a peaceful, relaxed walk from Marine Drive parking area to the Lighthouse on a sunny afternoon or watch the sunset from the high rock above. Very shady with magnificent trees along the way. Total time is about an hour round-trip.

This park seems to be frequented mostly by locals so it's a nice escape from the tourist treadmill. There are a multitude of walks so you can get some silence on the harder ones like Valley of the Giants where the PNW softwoods are hundreds...More

We were here early on a Sunday morning and had the park to ourselves which was amazingly peaceful! It's a short 10 min walk from the parking lot to the water and views of the lighthouse. It's an incredibly beautiful park with picturesque views of...More

Beautiful park located in West Vancouver; good wide and clear walking trails take you through a stunning rain forest as you meander towards the coast line! The light house is beautiful and there are several opportunities to get pictures of it from different vantage points!...More

This is a beautiful park, but it can get VERY busy, especially in the summer months. However, in the autumn, winter and spring it's a great place to wander around and take in the fresh sea air and beautiful scenery.

Once you step just a few metres into the park, you will forget that you are in the middle of town. Because of the large redwood and cedar trees, all sounds of the city stop and all you can hear are the sounds of nature....More

There isn't any overflow parking but there are a number of residential side streets that are 5-10 min from the park entrance. When we were there, we actually parked 3 streets down and asked one of the city bylaw officers who... More
