A lovely park to visit with children. Wonderful place to take photos. Relax on the grass or bring your own camp chair. Bring your favorite goodies in a picnic basket and ENJOY

The Lighthouse is a historical site and gated and protected, there is a small camp ground in the drive way. It looks like someone lives there. You can't actually walk up to it or go inside. Trails are all about and start back just before...More

We came here while on vacation. It was a pretty quick and easy walk. The view of the lighthouse was nice and you could also see downtown Vancouver off in the distance.

It was a nice walk in the early evening (park closes at 10 pm in the summer, I believe). There are several trails you can take to get to various viewpoints in the park. Well worth the drive!

Are there parking options if the lot is full? I won't have a choice to go mid-day on a Sunday, for example. Is there overflow or additional parking available? Thanks.

There isn't any overflow parking but there are a number of residential side streets that are 5-10 min from the park entrance. When we were there, we actually parked 3 streets down and asked one of the city bylaw officers who... More
