Wonderful local handmade gifts

You may have to hunt for this shop as it is not on the Main Street, but it is worth it. Handcrafts of high quality and paintings are one of a kind.

Beautifully selected and presented pieces of art from local artists in a delightful gallery in the heart of Haliburton. The gallery offers whimsical paintings and gadgets to scented soaps and hand crafted wooden bowls or something just a little different. The staff are helpful and take the time to share information about the artists and the what's happening in the... More

Very nice place to visit behind the main street of Haliburton village. Excellent display of well-known local painters, photographers, sculptors and craft artists, some of whom are instructors at the Haliburton School of Arts and Design.Interesting place to pick up different arts type souvenirs.

This show is a whimsical combination of technology and pioneer handicrafts. You can't help but laugh and admire how she combines the two. The gallery has a great collection of other local artists' work, and the staff were so friendly and great to chat with about whidden's thinking behind the work.

Gallery has small items and larger works for sale. Many instructors from the School of Arts display their work here. Beautiful paintings, weaving, glasswork, jewellery, as well as souvenir-type items. Price list available for all items. Staff helpful and well-informed.

Always something great to look at, in the gallery. The gift boutique has a wide variety of gifts available for purchase, handmade, crafted or painted by local artisans at reasonable prices for one-of-a-kind creative works. Items are changing regularity, and the quality is excellent. A must stop for a necessary breather from hectic travels. It speaks well for why Haliburton... More
