Fantastic swimming location on the Gold Coast! Amazing views with beautiful water and good for all ages!

Parking on sight is very limited on a busy day and you can setup on the beach on either side of the creek.

I have been visiting this spot since the early sixties when my relatives used to camp here. It’s one of the few places on the coast now that I regard as relaxing even if it can be tricky to get a park at popular times.
The creek runs under the bridge and out to sea. The current can be quite swift at times and does create some holes. If you’re worried though or with young kids you can swim where the Neptunes patrol safely. The Neptunes have been here keeping us safe for as long as I can remember too. Or you can venture over to the lake area.
Plenty to do here and lots of space. Swimming, fishing, boating, canoeing and just relaxing all spring to mind.
There are good outdoor showers for a rinse and several change rooms.
As a bonus the little cafe near the sport and Rec building does the best chips I’ve tasted in a long time. Topped with Maldon sea salt flakes.
Also you can walk the picturesque Burleigh Mountain from the other side. Choice of low track - quicker and flatter or the high track- a bit steeper but great views.

Who doesn't love it here? A beautiful oasis on the Gold Coast. Best for a mid-week visit when you can as the crowds are less but lots of spots for an isolated visit if wanted. Absolute fav!

Tallebudgera Creek is famous for its calm waters, perfect for the kids, paddle-boarding and simply relaxing on a hot day.

Not a lot of parking available compared to its popularity, but worth getting to early and exploring.

The adventurous can swim or paddle across Tallebudgera Creek to Echo Beach on the other side for a bit more space and a great view.

The creek is peaceful and and the water is great for swimming. Here you can swim, standup paddle, kayak, sunbathing or simply lie on your flamingo.

But watch your belongings as there as many turkeys around seeking opportunities to go through your stuff. We also saw a snake in the woods close to the beach. So be careful of that as well.

Checked out this place and it's got great water especially at low tide, it's great for kids. Just need to be aware of the tide as it can be strong. Got change rooms and bathrooms. Not much parking.

Fantastic place for sunbathing, safe swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding. Free parking and a nice cafe too. Sometimes it's very busy because it's so nice.
