Bajamos al río en diferentes ubicaciones. En la playa de la peña colorada nos animamos a entrar, pero hacia frío. Dimos la vuelta para verlo desde arriba, desde el mirador, un paisaje muy hermoso. Por la zona del puente Ustarez almorzamos en la Gayba, y también bajamos para sacar algunas fotos. Es un paisaje interesante del chaco boliviano.

Llegar a Villamontes y no acercarse al rio Pilcomayo es como no haber estado en este lugar. La zona del puente Ustarez es la que nos gustó mas. Hay varios restaurantes rústicos donde sirven la especialidad de la zona, el sábalo un pescado exquisito y muy bien preparado.

Es un recorrido de unos 45klm ida y vuelta hasta llegar el inicio del angosto (Punte colgante de Tucainti), en este recorrido se realizan distintas paradas para disfrutar lo máximo del majestuoso Pilcomayo.

maravilloso .. lindas vistas .. en el especial el angosto un cañón con vistas espectaculares ..donde los pescados el sabalo dorado surubi son los platos típicos de la región..

Es un lugar para pasear un rato y tomarse unas fotos, pescar, en esta epoca nadar. Se puede ver al pueblo Weenhayek en la pesca comunitaria, degustar de un delicioso sábalo, surubí, dorado o pacú.
