We were greeted warmly and had our questions answered by the man who was working at the museum. There are a variety of displays with something for most people's interests. We were glad we stopped by and worth our time. Admission by donation.

A great museum depicting what has happened around the Sunshine Coast and to preserve and present the vibrant history of the Sunshine Coast. The Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday 1030am to 4-30pm.

This is a must stop when visiting historic Gibsons. View the photos from the late 1800’s as well as the CBC long running TV show called the Beachcombers. Entrance by donation.More

I found the displays and memorabilia from the TV show the Beachcombers quite interesting. I remember watching that show. This was the highlight for me since I'm not really a person who goes to a lot of museums.
