We've been to the Thrill zone many times and have got discounted vouchers from Book me in the past for the family. But since business picked up again after COVID, they've tightened up and are offering fewer quotas so we've had to pay full price for some of us which is ok.
What's not ok is that recently we bought two discounted sessions via Book Me ($29) for Omni and two for Hologate but I have three boys so I called to book for one more person for each game.
I explained that we are repeated customer since Lake Road time and the lady (Sonia) kindly offered to give us the same discounted price for the third person and told me to pay for it when I arrive.
However, when I got there on the day, I was told it's $118 instead of $58. The lady said she did not recall that conversation at all and charged us full price. I didn't want to disappoint the boys so I just paid it. I am ok to pay full price for the additional player as we always did but it's not right to promise your customer one thing and turn around denying it as if I have hallucinated. It isn't right to do business like this.
It's a pity as my boys have enjoyed playing there every school holiday and guess we'll just have to go elsewhere now.

We appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to address your concerns regarding your recent visit to Thrillzone. It's always our goal to ensure that our customers have an enjoyable experience, and we're glad to hear that your kids had an awesome time with us.
I would like to personally address the issue you mentioned about requesting a 3rd person to join at the same discounted rate. As you may recall, I took your call and explained that if no further discounted tickets were available, the 3rd person would need to pay the full price. It's essential to clarify that our policy has consistently allowed for a maximum of two discounted tickets per time slot on Book Me. After our conversation, we confirmed this policy with our Marketing Team and Book Me to ensure consistency and fairness. I apologise if there was a misunderstanding towards these policies during the phone call.
Upon your arrival, we understand that you reiterated your request for the discount, and I explained that we were unable to provide it, in line with our policy.
We acknowledge that your visit occurred during the busy school holidays, and we did experience some smaller delays. We sincerely apologised for any inconvenience this may have caused.
During your visit, your kids received additional game time on our Omni VR experiences, and all four of you, including yourself, were offered a complimentary race car session. Typically, this offer is exclusively available to full-price paying repeat customers who present a special card and book directly with us. However, we made an exception for your group as a gesture of goodwill.
We are grateful for your kind words to our operator at the end of your visit thanking him for the awesome time with your kids. At this point we felt you could see the value of our state of the art experiences..
In retrospect, we would have appreciated it if you had expressed your concerns directly with us before leaving our premises, as we are always striving to provide the best possible service to our customers. While we cannot grant every customer a 50% discount, we do our best to accommodate within the boundaries of our policies.
We genuinely believe that we went above and beyond to provide you and your boys with a memorable time at Thrillzone. We are disheartened by the 1* review, but we respect your perspective.
We wish you all the best, and if you decide to visit us again, we hope to exceed your expectations, however it will be within the boundaries of our policies.

Had my son's 12th birthday party here and the boys had a fantastic time. They did an escape room and laser tag. The staff are wonderful. I highly recommend Thrillzone.

Just took our three boys here and they had an absolute blast and got a good workout doing Omni VR. Everyone very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend!

An amazing experience, went with my kids and had no experience with video games but the staff made it fun and easy, really fun games for all levels… lots of laughs and awesome memories. Will definitely be going back. Customer service is gold standard 🙂

Looking for something to do with the teens and found this. Wow; the VR Escape was so much fun - great experience, awesome set up and friendly staff. Will definitely be back.
