The museum is located in Fort Nelson, BC, Canada and is operated by the Fort Nelson Historical Society. Fort Nelson is the gateway to the Northern Rocky Mountains and the Muskwa-Kechika Management Area.

What a delightful visit! Interesting collections of all kinds of stuff relevant to this area. Wildlife, chainsaws, a jail, communications equipment, but best of all was the vintage cars, trucks, even a Zamboni! We even met the man behind all the collections, Marl was there!...More

This little museum is a must for all travelers and worth the stop, it was put together by a local pioneer. It is not fancy , but very good and typical of the area

Thee Best private collection i have ever seen , it was raining the day we stopped..so only stayed a hour. hope to stay overnight next yr at campgound next to the museum and have better look.
