Best riding experience I've had at a cat-skiing operation

White Grizzly (WG) was the best cat-skiing experience I've had. It helped there was an incredible amount of powder! But, nonetheless, WG runs a great operation. For comparison, I've also snowboarded at Island Lake and K3. Overall, I think WG's terrain offers much more than the other two. If you want big open bowls, go to to Island Lake. But... More

White Grizzly Cat Skiing in Meadow Creek BC is a special place for the best snow. It often gets a bit more than anywhere else in the area. Cat skiing doesn't have the no fly periods of Heliskiing and they have access to amazing steep, deep terrain with lots of glades which helps so much with stabity & visibility. Most... More

This was my first cat skiing trip, and was a great starter! White Grizzly caters to advanced skiers and boarders due to the terrain, and they are clear about that. They are extremely safety conscious, and the first evening and part of the first morning on the mountain are spent on safety education. They provide avalanche safety equipment which many... More

I'm an avid boarder who spends his seasons in utah but likes to get up to BC once in a while to enjoy the amazing snow and terrain that they have up in the Kooteny's. White Grizzly is a small (1 cat only) outfit that focuses on high quality steep treed cat skiing. If you want to ski bowls, you're... More

When you go to White Grizzly, you get every thing you signed up for. Its steep and its deep. Run after run, they took us to the best runs of our lives. With an average snowfall of over 60 CM per week, you will be sure to get powder turns there. They run a massive terrain with only one CAT... More

I've been to other bigger, better known cat and heli ski operations, and none does a better job of giving guests a great time than White Grizzly. It's my kind of place - small and intimate, homey not glitzy. The terrain is the best I've found - steep and treed, with some open lines and pillows of all shapes and... More

White Grizzly is a small cat skiing operation, the run only 1 cat at a time to keep the terrain fresh, and because they like to take personal care of their guests. It's really cozy, intimate and the accommodations are very clean and extremely comfortable. the owners, Carole and Brad, run the place themselves with a small staff of friendly... More
