About
During a trip to Quebec City, an amazing day out at the Canyon Sainte-Anne's gorge with its imposing waterfall and 3 suspension bridges is a must-do family attraction. Get into a spectacular and vertiginous canyon. Listen to the roaring of the majestic Sainte-Anne falls (74m high) between its narrow 1.2-Billion-year-old rocky cliffs. Vibrate while walking across our 3 suspension bridge. One is 60m (243') high over the gorge!Discover Giant potholes and cascades in the Mini-Canyon, along with the challenging Stone Stories Treasure Hunt with all family members. Be thrilled by our 3 vias ferratas and our 2 giant zip lines.Canyon Ste-Anne is well located, only 30 minutes from Quebec City, towards the Montmorency falls, and only 5 minutes from the Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupre Shrine and the Mont Sainte-Anne ski resort. The entrance is situated directly on Route 138 East, towards Charlevoix, the Le Massif ski resort, and the whale watching cruise area.

This is a must visit! The place is so beautiful, we spent all morning walking around. The views we saw while on the Soaring Eagle ride were spectacular!

This was a fun and scenic experience in a canyon park! English speaking Cammie answered all my questions when planning our trip months before. Our family friend did the zip line and it was fast and very high. I use a manual wheelchair and was able to do two-thirds of the path including the steep hill (with a lot of help from my husband and family friend) down to the first suspension bridge. They also have a golf cart too. It was easy to get across the first bridge. Great views of the canyon and waterfall going down the steep gorge. A paved surface most of the way and hard packed dirt made it easy to navigate thru the woods. The second suspension bridge was Very High up and provided great views of the canyon way below. However, some of the wood slats were too wide...you could get your manual wheelchair tire caught in it. For this reason I only went 1/3 of the way across the bridge as my husband and family friend had to navigate the boards. We turned around at that point as the trail to the third suspension bridge had a lot of steps. Plenty of photo opportunities. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and had lunch (inside or outside) and ice cream there. They had a nice gift shop along with indoor bathrooms too. Special Hi to Cammie and her hockey loving boyfriend. :)

We did this trip with AML cruises which runs a fast ferry from Quebec port to Ste Anne de Beaupre during the summer and then runs a shuttle service up to the canyon. the whole experience from the ferry shuttle up the river, past Montmorency Falls, into the canyon by bus was great. There was quite a bit of time between the buss shuttle and the ferry landing and leaving Ste Anne, but it did not undermine a great trip. the Canyon itself was incredible and well worth seeing. I now live in Quebec and whilst I am sure that some would say you can drive to the canyon quicker, this was a lovely thing to do with a guest. On the return trip, it is possibly the only true way they would see what Quebec really means, "the place where the river narrows!"

I’m not sure why some negative reviews called this a tourist trap. As long as you know what you’re getting, it’s a fine place to stop for an hour or two. What you’re getting is a really nice hike on a paved loop to view a spectacular waterfall which runs through a dramatic gorge. You will climb lots of stairs if you want the full experience. There are several swinging bridges over the gorge, so perhaps this is not for those afraid of heights. My teens also did the zipline (which costs extra) and enjoyed that. There’s a nice restaurant and pretty picnic grounds. That’s it. You’ll have to decide for yourself if that’s worth the admission price. I’m glad we saw it.

Loved hiking the canyon - beautiful views. A lot of walking, but totally enjoyed it. Two family members did the zipline and loved that, as well.

A gorgeous site to visit on your stay in Quebec City. A member of our group is handicapped and was able to use a scooter along the paths. The views are beautiful.

A fun few hours here on a warm sunny day. I think it would be miserable in foul weather. Their 'zipline chair' is a hoot, even if it is only a 30-second ride. Admission is charged, but includes the chair ride. Well groomed and easy hikes to all the best scenic spots along the canyon. The lunch counter isn't much - just pre-packaged sandwiches and drinks, but perhaps more expansive in high season.
