Walk, Hike, Snowshoe, cross country ski. It is a lovely place to visit. Unfortunately the snowshoeing is no longer free and I find the daily use fee for snowshoeing or cross country skiing to be a bit high if you are a recreational user going for a couple of hours, especially if you are a family of 4 or 5,... Philippe Cabin is a cabin in the Gatineau Park woods. In the winter you can cross country ski or snowshoe to it. The cabin is lovely. It is a "two" room cabin with kitchenette, wood stove, large living room, and sleeps 10 people (bunk beds). Very clean and stocked. The kitchenette has a propane two-burner stove and fridge. Stocked with... More

great although not extraordinary sceneries, best one is probably Champlain Belvedere for cars and bikes, or better Mont King for hikers Nice mountain bike rides as well as roadbiking. Hiking is not as thrilling. Kingsmere is nice to visit and accessible by car If you arrive by Philip's Lake, nice beach in summer where you can canoe and camp but... More

I make sure to visit the park a couple times a year. The Fall Rhapsody is absolutely gorgeous from the top of the park at the Champlain lookout and definitely a must see. The various walking trails make the park a joy for hours. The winding roads to the top make the drive very enjoyable for any motorcycle enthusiast.

Nice park to have a walk through and enjoy the scenery. Not much to see in the Winter so will return in the Spring when things start to bloom again.

The park offers a great experience for all season, for all types of athletes and non athletes. Be part of the nature, enjoy what we have in our backyard. Refresh and reenergize. People will be able to take a great walk or a run spring, summer and fall. Winter is a paradise for cross-country skiers, snow showers, fat bikers (the... More

It helps that there was fresh snow, but the skiing in this beautiful park is excellent. Very well maintained trails. Excellent visitor center. Very peaceful place. Expansive and extensive trail system, most quite easy.

Went with a group of friends for a two night winter camp. The trails were beautiful and well marked with a good variety of talisman for different skill levels. The cabins were great.. a note of caution, don't over stuff the wood stove cause you will be sweating all night.
