Ended up at Radium Hot Springs. Good day trip. Lots of stops along the way. Couldn't get up to Stanley Glacier as didn't have suitable footwear for the snow.

We stayed at Redstreak Campground, late in the season (early Oct). The info on the website is very confusing regarding reservation vs non reservation. You can make reservations but they leave you a note, advising that you have to report to the kiosk by 10:30...More

Always an amazing scenic drive filled with amazing views. There's always something to see including big horn sheep, mountain goats, elk, black bear and more. The pass through Radium often wows people the first time through and there are many hiking trails just off the...More

Whatever you do, PLEASE don't just drive through the park as some have mentioned they've done, you won't get the true feel of this place!! There's a lot to see here. There are five different colors of water in the lakes and rivers I saw,...More

We enjoyed driving thru Kootenayon our way to Glacier National Park, Montana from Lake Louise. There were many pullouts to enjoy the beautiful scenery and views. It is definitely less crowded than the nearby more popular parks. Take time to enjoy the drive thru here.

Breathtaking views says it all. Most people come through on the way to Banff, Lake Louise, or Jasper, but this park is beautiful and much less crowded. If you want to experience Canadian Rockies with fewer tourists, come here.

Compared to Banff and Jasper, this was not much. But I will admit that I only drove through it and did not put much effort into trying to discover its highlights.

It.depends upon how many stops you make. I took three hours but stopped many times to photograph the varied landscape. If you don't stop 1:45 hours end to end.
