I unfortunately did not get to even book a tour. I was treated so poorly by their representative on the phone I will NEVER give them my business and I will encourage others to go elsewhere. He was belittling and rude. He did not listen to my actual question and answered what he thought my question was in such a... More

We went on our first ever whale watching expedition with them this week. We had an amazing time! Well worth every penny. Within 10 minutes of setting out in the zodiac we were seeing orcas. At no time did we feel unsafe, and Paul was very informative. We also saw porpoises, and went out to Race Rock and saw a... More

You don't need to bother driving to Victoria to see whales, right here in Sooke is the place to be. Within 10 minutes we saw a pair of hump backed whales and stayed with them for 20 minutes, getting some amazing photos. We then got a call about a pod of Orcas so hung on for the 30 minute ride... My girlfriend and I set up our first whale watching tours with Sooke Coastal Explorations and it was an amazing time. Both captains were very knowledgeable and did a great job getting us on whales. Having smaller boats than some of the other companies allowed us to move around quicker and ultimately see more whales. We went 4 days in... More

I loved going out on the water with these guys. They know what they are doing . Was an amazing experience I highly recommend. The guides are very friendly with a ton of knowledge to give . Rough water is nothing to these pros . They aim to please and make sure you see as much as you can

My wife and I took out our 10 year old granddaughter for the Whale Watching trip -- totally comfortable in full suit survival suits -- perfect weather and Captain Dan did a marvellous job of getting us to where the action was -- we saw so many Orca's it was stunning to say the least -- plus one Humpback whale... The staff were great and well organized. We did see humpbacks but not orcas however that is the luck of the draw. We saw sea lions and lots of seals and best of all our grandsons loved it. People at the front of the zodiac really feel the waves so of course the boys wanted to be up front. Apparently... More

We have done a lot of whale watching tours over the years and this was one of the best. These people know what they are doing and help you to do it in a 12-seat 500 hp Zodiac for a (legal) up close and personal experience. The day began with fog but we were told not to worry and we... More

Let me start by saying that there were tons of orca and humpbacks on this tour. I would guess at least 20 of each. We have great weather and the view of the whales from the zodiac were unparalleled. However, part of the ride was extremely rough, with the zodiac bouncing up and down on about 4 foot waves for... More

Start by walking down a wobbly dock at a house. Then put on worn out grimy faded suits that looked really old and unreliable. Boat Driver smoked. Little children in boat in pdf's not in suits The whale watching that we saw in Victoria looked safe. This did not.
