Be sure to allow several hours to tour this beautiful, well planned garden. Don't miss the sculpture garden. We were there in early October 2016 and the garden was outstanding. There is a cafe on the grounds for dining.

There was still lots of color in the gardens when we visited in early September. The entrance planting was stunning! There were many different styles of gardens to explore, including: beds of colorful perennials interplanted with Japanese maples; a formal knot garden; a sculpture garden; a heather garden (our favorite); and a petting zoo with friendly alpacas (and two cute... We only had a short time at the gardens and explained at the counter that we only had a half hour and the staff let us in for free. As it turned out a big black cloud came up with thunder so we didn't even stay the 1/2 hour. The gardens that we did see were very well kept with... More

We were told this garden was the top ten in Canada....well if that's the case it's number 10 for sure. It isn't that large. The grounds were in need of more staff pruning and weeding. Unexpected pleasant surprises were the llamas and chickens and a sculpture garden.

Best viewed in the spring or summer, but the foliage is delightful in the fall as well. There is a petting zoo for children. The gardens are elaborate and gorgeous.

Attractive grounds. We were there at the tail end of the fall season. There were still colors to be seen. There were a variety of plantings and a large sculpture garden. The outdoor sculptures represented finalists and winners of an area competition over a number of years. Many of the pieces were interesting and the setting attractive. You may also... More

Beautiful gardens! My six year old loved seeing the animals and playing in the miniature houses. There are a variety of plants and trees. The sculpture garden was amazing! Definitely a place to visit if you are in St. Andrews!

We were there mid October on their last day open. The garden was still quite beautiful with fall colors and it was a surprise to find the animals. It worth the walk thru the woods and we had tons of fun playing guess the title in the sculpture garden.

was on a tour from Princess Cruises and we went to Kingsbrae Gardens' for a tour. Since it was October most of the flowers are know dying. What I want to review is the wonderful Café that is at the Gardens. I had the BEST Seaford Chowder I have ever had there and I was in Boston, Maine, Rhode Island... More

Beautiful layout of gardens. Does require a fair amount of walking however, most paths are well laid out for walking or wheelchair. Several animals are also in the gardens which offers a change of pace if young children are with you. The only critique is the signage could be improved. It was a bit difficult deciphering what paths to take... More
