We were fortunate to have a glorious day in October. The boat ride and info provided by the biologists on board was worth the price of admission. We did see minke whales, seals, a tuna, and bald eagles. The captain did a great job of maneuvering for optimal viewing. And we got to spend some time with the Old Sow and her piglets! Very nice, all in our group enjoyed it and we were diverse in our interests and abilities.

We had a great time with Quoddy Link Marine! The captain was knowledgeable and made every effort to locate the animals and the crew were very friendly and knowledgeable of the area, animals, and the Bay of Fundy. Even if we hadn't seen animals we would have enjoyed this trip and would do it again! Definitely worth the trip!

A great experience heading out onto the Bay of Fundy & seeing the wildlife! The crew were super friendly & informative. It was October, so kind of late in the season, so only spotted one minke whale, but saw quite a lot of porpoise as well as some grey seals sunbathing. The weather was gorgeous, so even just the experience of being out on the boat was really good.

My family and I had an incredible experience whale watching with Quoddy Link Marine. The boat itself was fantastic and offered great space for viewing from the deck but also a cozier covered section down below. The crew was friendly and knowledgeable and happy to chat and answer questions. The hot chocolate and cookies were an unexpected and absolutely delicious treat on the way back to shore. We saw a ton of porpoises, a few minke whales, grey and harbour seals and a bald eagle. We were so thrilled with our time spent with this amazing crew and captain. We will definitely be back again!

A wonderful afternoon. The scenery is breath-taking. We lucked out and got a seat on top at the back of the boat (not so windy and cold). Do get dressed it does get cold out there even if it is warm out. Lots of information given and Dannie and Danielle were awesome.

4 of us will be booking your 2:00 tour the week of Sept. 13, and includes 1 smoker. Given you have 3 outdoor sections to the boat, I'm hoping an infrequent puff is allowed......

Does this tour company's tour take you past the Old Sow Whirlpool off the coast of Deer Island?
Lisa E

Hi Beth! Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately we do not normally go by the Old Sow unless the whales are feeding in that area. Normally the whales feed in an area that is too far away from the Old Sow to allow us to include it. Please let me know if you have any further questions!
Kind Regards,
Lisa Eldridge

I'm not sure if there is a tour bus in the summer but I do know there is a transit bus from Saint John that stops off in St. Andrews. You could probably walk to the attraction or get a taxi from the terminal (get a taxi number prior to leaving as there is not a formal terminal building. The best way is to rent a car. There are several car rental agencies in Saint John.
