We were visiting, from UK, and staying with friends in Kimberley. We had a very enjoyable first family ski holiday with 2 boys (aged 6 and 9). Great value for money Learn to Ski package that included basic equipment for the boys, however very disappointed with the quality of adult equipment from Resort's rental shop, considering what you pay and... This past weekend we went to Kimberley Resort for the first time in 20 years !! We stayed at the Trickle Montain Lodge it was right on the hill and very nice, the ski lockers were a nice touch. The hotel did need a little maintainance the pool was dirty and neither of the two Hottubs worked worth a damn.... More

We arrived today at the beautiful resort at Kimberley. Beautiful condo, beautiful view, not so good customer service at the rental shop. We paid for the skis and boots in advance at the time we rented our condo at Kimberley. We arrived at 3:30 in the afternoon on Sunday and went to the rental place on Kimberley hill to get... More

Plenty of snow, and the lift lines were surprisingly tame! Plenty of ski in ski out accomodations, and very family friendly terrain and facilities. The base area is modern, and there appears to be adequate parking, although we did not use it. Not a lot of really challenging terrain.

Overall the resort was exactly what we were hoping for. With two beginners in the group we needed a few green trails for them to practice on and the blue runs were perfect for later in the week. My only critique is at the base of Main by the quad chair. It is so narrow and rather steep and over... More

Hit up Kimberley while staying in Fairmont. It was a warm day so the snow was HEAVY but, nonetheless, this hill has potential. Lots of tree runs that were not tracked out and some steep mogul runs if you enjoy destroying yourself on a snowboard. The pub in the lodge (name forgotten, I was loaded) has love music on the... We travelled here over Christmas break. It was a tough mountain for the beginners in our group. It is unfortunate that you can have a nice beautiful green run that comes out in a busy, icy, steep borderline blue area on almost every run. The bottom chute/past the overpass of the hill was not for beginners. This forced us to... More

The snown is incredible this year making the resort a real winter wonderland. This includes the entire mountain for downhill skiing and the Nordic ski club for cross country skiing. Both have a huge number of groomed trails daily. In addition Kimberley should be the family destination as ski rates are reasonable, lots of on mountain accomodation options for ski... More

Kimberley resort is a nice mid sized Gem about 20 minutes Northwest of Cranbrook. They have 1 high speed quad that covers a decent amount of terrain. Mostly intermediate and some beginner trails mostly off this side of the resort. They have 2 other distinct sections served by a 3 person chair and an older 2 person chair. Down at... More

Writing this review is completely contradictory because by doing this, I am telling people to go here and will ruin the "Hidden Gem" label. Kimberley Alpine Resort is awesome. The snow was great, the lift lines were short, the views were spectacular and there is terrain for all levels of snowboarders and skiers. We stayed on the hill at a... More
