Not only is it 1.15 hrs from my home town of Brooklin...large wooded camp site (we had site #32 and fits our trailer and more!)...clean showers/washrooms (strong shower pressure!!!)...sandy clean shallow beach...Walmart/Timmie/Wild Wing/McDonald's/Casino Rama...More

The lots are nice and big and somewhat private. The showers were very cold and not very clean. Laundry facilities would be nice for travellers from far away

Price matches location rather than park itself (got to love cottage country.) There isn't much to Mara other than the beach. The beach is nice enough, and was clean. The size means that you're quite packed, and with a lot of young families expect a...More

No. The water is too shallow along the entire shoreline of the park. However, there are some good boat launch locations near the park.
