The Scout Valley is definitely not challenging to hike but it is nonetheless beautiful for the area it sits. Lots of lush greenery, streams and a lookout with views of the water in the distance.

Rugged hiking trails - heavily wooded. To access points, off Edgar Rugby Rd and sideroad. Close to Rotary Place, university and shopping. Leashed dogs welcome. Historic log building and gardens on property. Can hear traffic noises from highway.

Beautiful hike in the snow. Lots of dogs out, and a great spot to stop on your way north if you need to stretch your legs a bit

Great location to go for a walk through an area that has some hills, trees and lots of fresh air. Very close to Orillia with 2 parking lots.

I do a lot of local hiking and walking. I found the trails to be stony, and uneven so it is necessary to watch your steps rather than enjoy the scenery fully.
