The Leacock museum is a wonderful place to spend a sunny summer afternoon. You get the feeling of living in the period of his time. The grounds are very nice and well kept. You get the wonderful feeling of the surroundings. Take the kids and teach them about the past history of Stephen Leacock andhis works. Hope to see you... More

Took my Brother visiting from Ottawa to see the home and Brewery Bay. It was off season so very quiet, just the two of us. The custodian was at the home during our visit and gave us some great information and made us feel very welcome. Such a beautiful home. Very well maintained. The tea room was closed for the... More

Went there to see a presentation of the Great Escape. Totally enjoyed the entire experience. There are frequent events held here and the grounds are gorgeous. They also have a very nice cafe that serves great light meals.

A whimsical look into a character who formed a wonderful part of Canadian history and literature. The beautiful grounds and home are a must see for those interest in architecture, history and literature. I have a beautiful photo enlargement of the home in my livingroom that I cherish.

Quiet and peaceful setting, the grounds are lovely with a little boathouse out at the lake. A beautiful summer day when we were there. We were the only ones touring the house. Almost missed one section. Afterwards, stopped in at the restaurant across the parking lot and had lunch on the outdoor patio - very nice!

Beautiful place, admission was free, interesting home and park area. Was so glad u ran into this. Was out biking and it's along the bike trail. There is a cute small restaurant and cafe that is close by with a view of the lake as well.

My wife and I were married there in 2010, and we make a point of visiting nearly every year. The flowers, tall trees, and arbour are beautiful for a wedding in a garden setting. We like to let the kids run around while we take a relaxing stroll and relive some memories. There are usually some ducks to feed at... More

This is a super site in a tranquil setting on the lake. Visiting Mr Leacocks summer home is a great opportunity to step back in time, and is very worthwhile. Unfortunately, even with the large amount of money that was spent on it recently, it appears to be a losing battle against time and the elements. It needs constant upkeep... More
