Great place to walk the dog

Very nice path that is dog friendly. The path is open all year and offers various distances to walk. There are two parking areas one at each end of the path. Love this place!

Amazing view, walking distance from downtown Magog, a great walk for families with young children. Every time we visit Magog we go there. Very nice view in the fall. There isn't a lot of shade so I would not recommend during most sunny hours in the summer.

The paths take you through a wooded area, then on a wooden sidewalk over the marshland. Open year round; free access.

The Marais de la Rivière aux Cerises is a very nice place to enjoy nature close to the city of Magog. It allows you to walk through the woods full of cedars, pinetrees and other trees. You can ear the birds sing. It is a place that can be enjoyed in all seasons. After a snowfall it is particularly beautiful... More

We walked through the park in the AM and rented a tandem kayak from Vie de Plein air in the afternoon. Great way to pass a better part of the day and see it both on foot and kayak!! A must!!

The trails are extensive. One needs a lot of time do walk the extensive trails which go from boreal to marshy kind of terrain. There are bird feeders in the trees so good for bird watching. The fall colours were at peak during our visit. There were great photos available from the walkway over the marais.

Good place to walk around but this year they closed too many circuits.Too bad, Beware of mosquitos . Ideally it's good to let the car on the Magog side.

My first time visiting and I was pleasantly surprised. There is no change for this walk. We entered at the Roy street entrance. The paths are clearly marked for distance. The walk we took is about 2.5 km one way. There are placards for reading about the nature around you. The path is for anyone, some places are through the... More

Wonderful place to relax and get back to nature. Interesting mix of hiking and nature trails. Rather unique and interesting foot path built on wooden stilts.

This Marais is in the centre of Magog very close to the trans Canada trail. It is a gem. It is about 3 k ( parts were closed) and can be accessed from either end or done in conjunction with part of the Trail Verte which we did -- giving us a 5.5 k walk. There are several parking lots... More
