Zen setting, great views. If you want to get a feeling that you are out of town, far far away this little 1.4 km or so trail will give you the impression of being in an adventure. Just a great walk ... bring the kids.

Hello! I travelled here with family, including my mom in her 70's. There are options for wide, levelled paths and also accommodates wheelchairs in bathrooms/ outhouses ( very clean !!) along the route. We did not require that although it was excellent to see such...More

We rented a bi-place kayak at Vie de plein air so we could go through the swamp. Calm, easy, refreshing... we went through the Rivière aux cerises, a beautiful river that looks a little like in Louisiana. And then back to the big lake for...More

The walk through the marsh is beautiful, but actually I enjoyed the wooded sections close r to the chemin Roy parking the most. There are bird feeders in the woods, so lots of visiting birds. The trails are very well marked - I appreciated the...More

Marais de la Rivière aux Cerises is a non profitable organization with an eco-friendly approach. The site is simply beautiful to explore. It has the largest trail on stilts within "humid surroundings" in Quebec.

We visited late afternoon in June which was a big mistake as we had to fight off the mosquitoes and retreated rapidly after 10 minutes! A shame as there were informative boards up and the walk was well boarded and we were surrounded by birds,...More

A set of trails and board walks take you through this natural setting. A number of informative posters concerning the vegetation and wildlife are also present which we found quite helpful. Good for a quiet morning walk. Wear insect repellent.

There are several short paths winding through the wooded areas and marches. There are some information plaques and activities proposed for kids (only in French, I believe). There are sections of boardwalks. When we visited, high water levels made several of these inaccessible. It's a...More
