We had a wonderful 2 hour ride in the evening when the heat of the day had gone up in the mountains . Liz took me and my wife on gentle horses high up into Sierra Pelada and the horses were amazing - sure footed and obviously knew the route back to front!! Liz was a wonderful guide and pointed... A group of four of us booked a two hour trek in the cooler evening. We were matched up with horses based on experience or lack of ! We were fitted with the necessary safety kit and then set off through the beautiful olive groves. Liz was the consumate guide pointing out some of the best views of nearby towns,... More

Spent 4 mornings riding with Liz - she is a lovely person with amazing and gentle horses. My 2.5 year old daughter loved "Beatle" the pony and while I went out for a ride with Liz, she and my wife spent time with the pony, the numerous dogs and a pot-bellied pig named "Beyonce". Liz got me to canter across... More

I visited the Sierra Pelada Riding School during the June half term. The stables are close to Montefrio and situated on a quiet road which is surrounded by lovely countryside. Liz provided excellent directions and we found the stables without any problem. The horses were lovely and well cared for. Liz was wonderful with my eight year old daughter who... More

We went for a sunset ride with Liz last week and it was fantastic. We're both competent riders and Liz managed to match us perfectly to suitable horses (I absolutely loved Luna) and we fitted in plenty of canatering and galloping, up hills and through fields. We even stopped for an evening drink at a local bar. We were out... More

I made reservations over a month prior to arrival and then again a week before, confirming with the owner. On the day of our reservation, I started calling about 30 minutes prior because we couldn't find the place. We stopped and asked for directions. We were lost for 3 hours, stopping for directions and calling the whole time! Only my... More

I would like to think i have learnt from your review, so now i always ask people for a contact umber whilst in Spain and make sure clients provided with my home and mobile numbers , unfortunately when you were calling my home number i was at the stables getting the horses ready for the ride you had planned. i... The ride and picnic my husband took with Liz and her horses (and dogs!) in May was fabulous. She did a great job of teaching us basic English riding commands and designed the route to fit our needs. She packed a wonderful picnic lunch. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend it to anyone traveling in the Andalusian section... More

I take regular lessons with Liz at Sierra Pelada Riding School, usually on Luna. From day one, having never had a riding lesson in my life, I was out in the beautiful surrounding countryside and feeling like I was really 'doing it' already. At times I can be impatient to learn and progress as much as possible, but Liz knows... More

Liz was very welcoming and nice! Although it was raining she managed to plan a route for us to see all the beauty of Andalusian nature. The horses were well-trained and human-friendly. It was a lovely time spend!

Stunning views, fresh in the mountains of Spain, taking in the old ruins and some history of Andalusia without walking. All on fantastic, steady horses, you couldn't ask for more. When my mum and me first visited Liz and her horses we thought the ride was fantastic, galloping across fields, trekking up mountains. Second time, a moonlit ride, beautiful. Third... More
