Nice little trail with a beautiful destination

The trail is not difficult at all. You can make it all the way to the end (the natural blue pool) in less than 10 minutes if you walk fast. The sounds of nature are very relaxing. I was lucky enough to have the whole place for myself. You can swim in the water, it's not really that cold as... More

The reason I gave it 3 stars was because of the tour package. Had I gone here without the $75 fee per person, I'd surely have given it 5*. Cute little Tiny frogs as shown in the pic I attached

We went there with our three teenagers and it was a great experience. Nice walk to the swimming hole. Around 15 minute easy walk. Once there a nice swimming hole with nice colors. Very very cold but very fun for the kids. We had a picnic at the picnic tables. Wasn't a lot of people on the day we went.... More

Very Beautiful place to visit, it's about 45 minutes from Isla Verde, parking is very limited so go early. There is a short walk to the River, nature is amazing, once your at the River you can enjoy the nice cold water. No entrance charge. Not wheelchair accessible. Great for kids.

El Charco Azul is a beautiful nature walk through the rain forest. it is a short 10 minute walk from the parking lot just off highway 184, about 25 minutes south of Guavate, and about an hour and a half from San Juan. as you walk through the rain forest you follow a creek/stream till you come to a big... We went here for a forest hike and lunch with our family and friends. Brisk 5inuyr hike through a lush forest to a cooling pool big enough to accommodate about 50 at once. Open air gazebos, and places to grill make this a great spot to spend hours. The path is easy to follow, but there are no changing places... More

Lush tropical forest hike trail with a beautiful natural creek pool. The rocks in the pool give the water a bright light blue color(on a sunny day). The water is cold, so this is a trip for a hot summer day. Perfect for a day trip close to San Juan during the week because there is a good chance the... More

Found this by chance and thought it was beautiful! Nice trails that wound thru the jungle. We had to turn around before making it to the pool due to getting bug bites.. If you are in the area definitely stop!

Takes a 5 minute walk to get there, but worth it. Very relaxing place. Great to take pictures. No bathrooms available, it's nature.
