This place is amazing for kids under 7. We had gone to the Royals Tyrell museum in the morning and happened to stop in on our way home. So glad we did. The cost was $25 per child to dig for fossils which they can...More

This is a family oriented attraction that has lots for the kids to do and plenty for the adults to keep busy. They had wonderful fossils for sale in the shop and their other T-shirts and stones were also quite nice.

$30 for our family! Are you kidding me. Admission should be $2 a person AT MOST. The so-called "tour" takes 6 minutes if you look at everything. Bottom line- NOT WORTH IT

The lady running the place the day we visited was trying to say Fossil World is better than the Royal Tyrell Museum - certainly an overstatement! It has a nice display of actual fossils in glass cases throughout a small horseshoe shaped room - overpriced...More

We didn't do the tour, but the gift shop is really well stocked and easy to find what you want. They have a separate room where they keep clearance items, which is worth a look for inexpensive t-shirts. We also picked up ammolite jewelry and...More

Although their 2017 calendar shows "open daily from 10 am until 6pm in June, with fossil digs available until one hour before close", they "didn't have adequate staffing for it", and wouldn't until the "busy season". We were very disappointed on June 19.
