This was by far one of the best attractions we saw while in Drumheller. It was a little pricey, but great value for the money. We cheaped out and did the building tour and train ride. We regretted not doing the mine tour. If you...More

Really enjoyed the train tour as the staff member running the train was extremely enthusiastic and great with the kids. Learned a lot from her! A very unique experience!

Found this place by accident- we did a tour of the mine. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, it was a great glimpse into the social history of the area.

The young staff here were fantastic! Very friendly and helpful. Interesting buildings, and material depicting what life was like for miners back in the day.

There three guided tours available at this site and are worthwhile. Two of our grandchildren, age seven and six accompanied us and we all agreed that what we learned and experienced was very worthwhile. The lives and jobs of coal miners was extremely difficult and dangerous.

We much enjoyed the tour of the tunnels. Our guide, Stuart was very knowledgeable and very funny. They did an exception job of resorting the site, without it looking like it was restored.

This was a highlight for us. We did the tunnel and tipple tours, and they were very informative and interesting (as well as good exercise). The guides do a really good job storytelling and immersing (literally) into the life of a early 1900's coal miner.
