If you like history and the old days, this is a must see. I took our kids in the summer. We had a blast. Not a cheap time out, but we'll worth it. Take the tour up to the mine entrance. Well worth it.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, really enjoyed the history and stories they shared. We paid general admission and toured the grounds on our own, there was a lot of interesting things to see. It also included a train tour and it was fun as well.
