The staff are very friendly and helpful. I purchased some beautiful gold/silver jewellery. They have a nice selection of items for all price ranges. I really enjoyed the local Komoks artists represented there, i would have liked to see more. I would have liked to see more artwork from Komoks artists who are just learning their trade, art with imperfections,... More

Beautiful First Nations' authentic jewellery, clothing, masks, paintings, prints, books and more from artists throughout BC. They also have a section in the gallery dedicated towards children. Truly a gallery to visit. First Nation art is unique in their style, Andy Everson is one of many of their exceptional artists who ls from the Comox Valley( Komox First Nations). Great... More

I stop in here often. I like the selection of native art mostly from artists on Vancouver lsland. I have bought the silver jewelry which is hand carved and not many pieces are the same therefore original. I have bought the moccasins and mukluks which i give to my wife as gifts and these are Manitoba mukluks mostly, name brand... More

Thank you for the review, and recommending us with our jewelry selection. On Vancouver island you have three groupings of people, Coast Salish, Kwakwaka'wakw, and Nuu-chal-nulth. In the I-Hos gallery, that is band owned and operated by the K'omoks First Nation, which is located on reserve, we deal directly with many of the artists from all three nations. Thank you... More

I always take out of town visitors to this great gallery - lots of different First Nations products - whether it's clothing, wallets, food, art, books and so much more. And very affordable. Friendly great service.

This gallery/ gift shop has a great selection of local & coastal aboriginal handicraft & art works. The most affordable items are of course the 'reproduced items'. Mugs, prints, cards, clothing & giftware. They do sell originals that are in most cases a wise investment for future generations. The staff are very knowledgeable & most if not all are members...
