nice place

There is a nice little beach, and a dock for non-motorized watercraft. it's a nice little lake with lots of wildlife. People should note that dogs are not allowed.

Had a couple of hours there just relaxing after having been on the road travelling for several days. It was a delightful setting with the blue winged teal ducks there who desperately wanted to share our picnic!!

Beautiful place but can get very busy in the summer. There is a camping area nearby, which is really lovely. Its quiet and very shady, the campsite. Around the lake, its very peaceful but few times it had been busy.

This is a free provincial park with a fabulous little beach for the kids to play on. Water is always shallow and warm and there are spots for camping within walking distance. No reservations here so first come first serve. Rates are great for camping as it is provincial park and the lake and day use areas are free.

I'm not aware of the campground aspect, but have enjoyed the picnic area many times. The important issue here is no powerboats on the lake. Need a break before driving on? Five minutes away from the highway is this restful spot.

We decided to come for lunch. We stopped at the lake first. There were people fishing, ducks swimming, & people laying on the grass enjoying the scenery. With the autumn leaves in full colour it was a nice place for a picture or 2. We then went up to the campground to build a fire. Each camping spot had a... More
