Ranked in Canada's Top 100 Courses, the Wildstone Golf Course is the first Black Knight Course by Gary Player Design to be built on Canadian soil. This incredibly well conditioned and player friendly course is set on the rolling highlands above the city of Cranbrook, BC where hole after hole golfers are treated to stunning postcard views of the Canadian Rockies. The course plays from 7,127 yards from the back tees and 4,947 from the front. The attention to detail in the design of the course is obvious. Generous landing areas from the variety of five tee boxes, closely mown green surrounds that allow for a variety of of short game options, well placed white sand bunkers and elegantly contoured greens that put a premium on approach shot accuracy are just some of the reasons that the course has received a 4.5 Star Golf Experience rating.Design: Black Knight Course by Gary Player Design Opened: 2011Par: 72 (37 Out, 35 In)Greens: A4/T1 Bentgrass Fairways: Kentucky Bluegrass.

Let me start by saying that we're a 6 and 13 handicap. Heard so much about Wildstone in the last few years that we decided to make the trip; played Trickle Creek the day before. After seeing pictures of Wildstone and hearing about the large...More

Wildstone has become a must play during my annual golf trip to the area. We typically head out mid-September and this year was no different. First, the staff at course were awesome, as friendly and accommodating as you could expect. Check in was smooth and...More

I thoroughly enjoyed my round. The course was in fantastic shape and was challenging without being punitive. I received the tip 'Everything breaks toward the mountains' before the round and that helped immensely. I called the pro shop an hour before my round to tell...More

A travelling group of 4 recently went to Cranbrook for our golf weekend (July 2017). We played Wildstone, Shadow Mtn, and St. Eugene. Wildstone was easily the best conditioned course we played with a fun layout with some challenging holes and some quirky holes. I...More

Always fun to play this course. The Gary Player design is unique - it seems no two holes are the same. Putting is always challenging on this track - but it's what we expected having golfed here every year for the past 5. Use the...More

If you don't have your "A" game, this course can eat you up! Beautiful fairways but difficult greens! Had a challenging but fun day! Wonderfully friendly course Marshall. The snack bar/club house makes a great burger!

This golf course is beautifully laid out. I'm not a very good golfer and I probably owe some extra money for the chunks of turf I removed with my clubs, but I was super impressed with the quality of the course and staff. Our first...More

Although it doesn't look it, this is a seriously tough course. Pro shop recommended moving up one tee box (from blue) and I should have gone to the reds. Some very long holes followed by lightening greens, despite being recently punched. I rarely 4 putt,...More

Thanks for letting us know about your round. The greens are definitely large and undulating but we don't want them to be too tough. The starters are a good resource and have some good tips about reading the greens or we could help out with...More

I would have given this a 4 rating, but wasn't overly impressed with the pro-shop staff. Seemed more interested in chatting with members vs. helping visiting customers. Course itself was a nice and enjoyable. Was in good condition and worth a play.
