What an amazing place!! The museum has done a superb job of re-creating 'life on the rails' with numerous train cars represented throughout history. Thank-you Canadian Museum of Rail Travel - we'll be back!!

I didn't expect much from this museum but what to do with friends on a wet fall day. This was a real surprise. We did the whole tour and looked at all the various stages of renovation. There are many examples of a by gone...More

Took the 1 1/2 hour guided tour through the three trains. . . amazing restoration and interesting history. This is great, even if you aren't a train or restoration buff.

We brought family from PEI to see the railway museum and they loved it. The staff were very friendly although talked a bit like robots repeating memorized lines. Would definitely recommend it for anyone with interest in trains at all.

Only took the short tour this time, but this is the 3rd time we have been there. It's unbelievable what they have accomplished restoring these rail cars. Hurrah for Canada for bringing those cars back to life.

Our "conductor" Kazmir was a lot of fun. He was afraid of ghosts and knew all his facts. He was a bit sarcastic, but that's okay! We did the full tour at student price which was amazing. $10 for over an hour of guided tour...More
