The tourist info suggested visiting Othello Tunnels and I'm glad we did. It's an amazing experience to walk through these big and old cutouts down to the raging river. I would recommend bring a small flashlight, it gets dark in some places.

We were on our way back to Vancouver from Penticton at the end of our vacation. So glad we took an hour to see this beautiful park. Between the river gorge and tunnels it was great scenery all around. Both of us were very impressed.

We walked the tunnels in May when the river was at full force. The canyon and surrounding area was astounding. Very picturesque. The views were mesmerising, well worth the stop from our cross country drive.

March was a little too early in the season. We could walk up to the tunnels but they were officially closed. Beautiful river and pathway in the snow.

Don't hesitate and plan a trip to the tunnels. The walk is short but impressive. The forest and cliffs around it are stunning.

A beautiful, easy walk through several historic railway tunnels, with lots of scenery around (actually I liked the scenery even better than the tunnels). Nice views of the river and canyon as well as lots of trees with hanging moss. This location seems to be...More

Yes the Park is usually opened Year-round. But the Tunnels are open from April-October. It all depends I think according to the weather conditions. If the weather is too harsh then the rock falls within the Tunnels and it... More
