Drive the Scenic Fraser Canyon with its’ seven mountain tunnels through the historic heart of British Columbia and relive the biggest ‘rush’ on the Gold Rush Trail. A location so unique the ‘afterlife’ have come back to use it as a playground. Early explorers refer to it as “a place where no human being should venture”, and man & nature battle here for supremacy.

If you need high stimulus entertainment, and costumed characters walking around, this is not the place for you. It is not a modern style theme park. It is more of a side trip to get a slice of BC. We take out of province visitors to Hell's Gate because there is nothing else like it. I don't think our friends... More

This tram to the shores of the Fraser river just north of Hope, BC is a fun thing to do by itself. But then you get to walk across the suspension bridge over the river, watch some interesting videos and then get a ride back to the top! We even got to see rafters coming down the rapids right underneath... More

This is a fun trip on the air tram and the display at the bottom station has old photos of the Fraser Canyon. A quick history lesson. Then you can hit the fudge and ice cream shop or the restaurant for a snack. Get some photos of the canyon and enjoy the sun.

I am new to the province and have been exploring some of its many attractions. I would recommend Hell's Gate Air Tram to everyone visiting, or living here. The gondola ride is smooth with the friendly operator providing useful and interesting information. Spend some time walking around the grounds at the bottom ~ also very interesting; and the views are... More

If you are local and get the multi visit price the all well and good but paying $22 per adult is going to stop people using this historic location

Hell's Gate is a great attraction that should not be missed. Buy a ticket and take the Airtram (gondola) to the bottom and make the suspension bridge your first stop. I was suitably terrified to walk across it, but it was perfectly safe and my husband offered moral support. The view from the center of the bridge is amazing! You... More

The pamphlet made the attraction seem really good, so they have a good marketing team. But it is an hour drive (beautiful) to the tram which goes down across the gorge to their own little village where everything was an additional charge.

A short ride down to the river, with a cafe and shop at the bottom. After similar rides in Whistler and Austria, this one is a bit tame. There's a museum about the history of Hells Gate and the Fish Pass, but this had obviously been in place for years and looked very tired. It's a shame the fsh pass... More

It is just a tram over the canyon. Nice view going down, but nothing extraordinary. It is actually pricey about $22 per person and even at 58 for the special. 2 adults 2 youth at $58.00 Several interesting exhibits and spots to take pictures. Food is pricey and not that good It is not an awesome place, but you can... More
