Just walking around the town, you'll find these artworks everywhere and they are amazing. Wish we'd had more time here but had a ferry to catch.

We got a free, very useful walking tour map at the city hall. We saw most of the roughly 40 sculptures in less than two hours and took lots of pictures. Visit the Public library where you can see a carving about the work of Edgar Allan Poe. The only bad thing is that some of the pieces of art have... More

If you like this sort of thing then the Hope work will satisfy you easily - plenty of sculptures, not a grreat distance from one to the next and lots of variety.

After 10 hours in the car, what a great way to walk off the kinks in your legs, back , etc. These chain saw carvings are very impressive. I wish I was this talented with carving, especially with a chain saw.

Love walking this quaint town. It is so beautiful and quaint and of course the artwork is as stunning as the natural beauty of the area.

My partner and I spent the better part of a morning wandering down Hope's main streets to view these fabulous chainsaw carvings. I can only begin to imagine the incredible amount of skill it takes to carve one of these -- especially with the astounding level of detail found in each and every one. Our personal favourite is the Sasquatch... More

We stopped off in Hope last week on our trip across British Columbia, and spent a great hour walking up and down the main street looking at all of the superb wood carvings. The skill level needed to create these works of art is incredible. All of the sculptures are brilliant, but my particular favourites were the bear holding a... More
