Didn’t get a lot of time to spend here but it’s a very interesting place and the tunnels are well worth a walk through. Impressive how they’ve been carved out of the sheer cliffs.

We are from a city approx. 90km away and went Nov 07. We have been at these great tunnels before but each year we seem to get lost or do not find the right road! So we ask and local Hope people are so nice....More

We did loop trail, starting with the tunnels and continue through hill and forest. It was a bit slippery in steep parts because of the snow and we were first people who did hike in the forest, we didn´t see any other footprints. But the...More

A must-see if you visit Hope. The walk and tunnels are stunning. We visited in the autumn and the colours in the late afternoon were simply magical. Would recommend taking a torch or using that feature on your phone as some of the tunnels are...More

Such a beautiful and cool walk, there are two options, the easy/short walk where you head directly to the tunnels and the gorge. Breathtaking views and easily accessed by families and people not looking to exert themselves but looking to see some beauty and catch...More

A must if you are a fan of the film Rambo. The place is easy to get to from Hope. The walk in is lovely in the Autumn. They could embrace the whole 'Rambo' homage with some information boards

I had no idea this existed until my friend said to check it out. If you follow Google maps you end up parking at the far end of a trail and later wind up at the tunnels after maybe 3km, which is great for a...More

Arrived mid-morning and it wasn't too busy at all. Super easy walking to the tunnels since it's an old rail grade (flat and wide). The scenery is spectacular so take your time! I did the loop, hiking the hope-Nicola trail back to the parking lot....More

if you are in search of a easy walk trail suitable for the whole family then this is it. You can experience tunnel, forest, river and gorge all in one go. It's a great choice for a short stop by Hope.

The tunnels are 'officially' closed for the winter (not sure of the exact months) but if you're adventurous, the left side of the first gate has a fairly easy climb around (done it).

Yes this is a gentle walk, the terrain can be a bit rough just loose gravel, probably easier with a stroller than a regular wheelchair... it is also quite dark in one of the tunnels!
