Lots of parking easy launch and a very calm lake for paddling especially if you are beginning. The lake has the remenants of piers and trees to navigate but that can add to the picturesque beauty of the place. Also in the middle of the...More

Recently been there shortly after the huge rainstorms we had experienced in the area. The smaller creeks and the waterfall were spilling over their banks. Such an amazing experience to witness. I will continue to go back and bring friends to experience this beautiful park.

This was a lake with clean water and a decent sized sandy beach. The kids enjoyed digging and building in the sand. The scenery is lovely and relaxing. Only complaint -- there were limited picnic tables.

Hayward Lake is a great spot to go for a picnic or family outing. It is close enough for anyone in the Lower Mainland to have a nice getaway. There is a nice beach, picnic tables, trails and washroom facilities.

Hayward is much more open and fun than Sasquatch. Water is warm. Backdrop is beautiful. Sandy beach is so nice. Mid-evening, midweek was the perfect time to swim and relax on a hot summer day. Crowded and little to no shade are only drawbacks, if...More

Clean, accessible, and good toilets. Ultimately, other than the sunshine and sand, these are the things one wants at the beach. The boat launch has been turned into an access point for canoes and non-motorized water crafts only which changes the whole experience at this...More

A bit out of the way but a nice lake. Nice and clean and not too busy. The water is pretty cold though. A real nice place to have a picnic. There's not too much on the way there so bring what you need.

We were camping at Rolley Lake and drove here for the day, it was so much better than Rolley Lake. The beach is great and the kids loved having real toilets.

This is a great place for stand up paddling as motorized boats are not allowed here. So it's safe for kids and those who are into kayaking. The only downside about this place is limited parking unless you park at BC Hydro museum and walk...More

In google look for Hayward Lake Reservoir. It will take you there. If you follow GPS and it takes you to a cul-de-sac in Yeo Street then turn around, get to the Dewdney Trunk Road, turn right and go towards Steve Falls... More
