I won't go into detail other than to say that the Powerhouse is a very well documented and portrayal of the days of yesteryear! Check it out! You won't be disappointed :)

Travelled up on Sunday of Labor Day weekend and the place was very quiet, but there is lots of parking. Getting in was very inexpensive. There are frequent guided tours, an introductory movie and lots of things that go flash and bang. Staff are wonderful...More

We were very pleased with the pricing and how the ladies working there were nice, the whole experience was amazing looking at the big generators and a number of different circuits and gizmos. We even had lunch on the outside area looking at the river...More

This is a great place to learn about electricity and it past. adults and kids can learn respect and knowledge about something that we all take for granted.

For $6 you can spend as much time wandering around as you'd like. There is a ton of great info and pictures on the building of the dam and it's very cool to be able to walk around on the old generator floor as well....More

I didn't really know what to expect but we are so happy we went here. It was very cheap for admittance and the whole family enjoyed it, the kids loved all the interactive exhibits. I will return when in the area for sure.

two young grandson's captivated by the machinery and learning the history. Well worth the excursion for a days entertainment.
