This is a fabulous mountain with tons of potential. It claims the highest vertical drop in North America and I believe it. Lots of variety on the slopes, and long long runs. When you ski from top to bottom your ears pop because of the altitude change. The shame is that the family that operates the mountain is just milking... More

The place to ski/ride if your legs are up for more vertical than any one day in your ski life! Ride the PowderBus cheap from town. Lineups at the gondola start at 815 for the 0900 opening. Go early season and download from mid station. This week we skied to the base area and parking lots.

Untracked powder, glades & steeps. This resort is for skiers & boarders who are looking for powder hit. The resort has a big boundary area of back country skiing, that can be hiked and if you've bought your touring gear, plenty of access beyond the resort boundary to the powder fields of BC. They don't do a lot of grooming... More

First, this is a great place to ski for the experienced. It's challenging, the snow is great and as an experienced skier, you won't be disappointed. HOWEVER, it's still very underdeveloped. I'm not looking for a Whistler type place, but Revy is still very lacking in some regards. The on hill chalet is nice, but it's way too far down... More

Revelstoke is like Rusutsu or Kiroro in Japan in that the base of the ski hill is big hotel. And basically, if you're not staying at that hotel (which is reasonably expensive), it kind of limits your experience of the Mt... There is a bar, a restaurant and a bakery open to the public. And an outside seating area. But... More

OK so you have read that it is steep & the pow & the choppers; yes it is all of that. When it dumps people just appear out of nowhere then disappear until it happens again. Extremely long runs & plenty of steeps, trees & back country if that is your passion. Best for solid intermediates & above. Whilst there... More
