It's not my first time visiting the Giant Cedars Boardwalk, but I am fascinated by them. So old, some here long before John Cabot or Columbus discovered the New World. And the trees are so very tall, it is very peaceful and inspiring, even when...More

I like that Parks Canada has modest and accessible strolls like this one. This temperate rainforest is rare, being so far inland. The trees are beautiful and we learnt a lot from the interpretive signs. Well worth the stop.

This place is a great stop along Hwy 1, just East of Revelstoke. The trees are massive and the area almost appears tropical. It only takes 10-20 minutes to walk around

Nice walk on wooden planks acting as a path. No especially beautiful site but a very good place to stretch the legs on a long journey. Short walk, believe it's just half a mile. It's a round journey so no walking back on yourself. We...More

This is definitely worth the stop. The boardwalk through the trees was beautiful and so amazing! It took about 10-15 min to do the walk through at a casual pace. It was super easy to get around. Lots of look out points and info boards...More

Do yourself a favour and stop for a walk on the boardwalk through the giant cedars. It's a short, comfortable walk and you can't help but marvel at the trees. On a hot summer day, it's cool and refreshing.

Beautiful trees, easy walk, wildlife. This easy walk had lots to see with gorgeous cedars and some ancient views of the forest. Pull in off the Highway and stretch your legs for a half hour. It's lovely.

There are about 4 of these lovely broad walk paths, all worth visiting. The giant cedars are awesome.

This is a great place to stop along the Trans Canada highway. It's nice in the hot summer cause it's all shaded and a real good pathway all through the cedars with a few steps up and down here and there. It doesn't take that...More

Very nice trail and super informative due to all the plaques and info boards along the way. This trail is right next to the highway, but you can't even hear the cars when walking here. Very restful and a quick walk!

I think Parks Canada has specific hours that they may enforce but if you have the daily visitor pass for the National Parks and you parked at the entrance, it's a very short walk to the trail. The trail takes about 20... More

Keep in mind this attraction is probably closed until late spring due to snow. You are supposed to have a national park pass or you pay the day fee which is about $20 if the park staff are manning the station. If they are... More
