Arrived after an unexpected early season snow storm. Trail to Eva Lake was a little muddy, but mostly bare. Weather was cool and sunny. Views of the mountains were fantastic. We were amazed at the large number a cars and RVs in the park in...More
After a long day of hiking it was refreshing to be able to drive up a mountain then hike 20 minutes to the summit. Great 360 views from the top. We even saw a bear foraging for food when we were just about to drive...More
It is not often you can start a hike at the summit of a mountain but this is one jewel in the glittering sky of Canadas’ National Parks. Hiked out along the trail leading to Eva Lake under a lowering cloud a bit late in...More

Almost certainly. However, this is a fairly high altitude location, so the weather can be unpredictable. Early snow is always a possibility, but even with light snow the trails will still be open. Make sure you are geared up appropriately for possible bad weather and be aware this is big bear country. Investing a few bucks in a can of bear repellant is a good idea. Other wise this is a beautiful area with few people .... enjoy!
