Nice short stroll to stretch the legs. But would have preferred the giant cedar trail which is currently closed.

The entirety of the trail is not open at all. The part that we walked was good. Open up the entire trail.

Like the cedars boardwalk, there has been some damage to the Skunk Cabbage Boardwalk. The first part was open and available for a stroll. It is a beautiful location near the river and close to town. I look forward to another visit when the entire trail is open to the public.

This is a short walk as part of the trail was closed and we respected that. Very tidy area, flat, easy walking, RV parking, picnic area, quiet, washrooms, large covered area for a family gathering. Nice spot to take in and learn about what inhabits this little site.

Shame on Parks Canada for not having a Trail Closed sign marked on the highway. People were parking and getting ready for the walk, only to get to the first bridge and find out the trail is closed. Mark it on the Highway signs !!! So simple to do to safe traffic hassles and peoples' time.

WE stopped here for a drive break and found that it was closed. The picnic area is open and very nice right alongside the river but the boardwalk itself is being rebuilt. Unfortunately there was very little signage to that effect, just one small sign at the parking lot and another at the start of the walk.

We stopped off in order to stretch our legs. We had low expectations. It's an easy walk , but really quite interesting. The skunk cabbage had long gone over, but there were a lot of birds including woodpeckers. A very nice diversion.

We stopped on way back from penticton to Calgary with our almost 2 year old. While the flowers weren't in season it was great to get out and have a little walk.

The parking area and toilets are well developed, and they have the coolest picnic shelter if you're needing to have a bite out of the rain. I love this place in the spring when the Skunk Cabbage is actually in bloom. The flowers are amazing. This last trip, it was fall. I hadn't appreciated how big the Skunk Cabbage leaves get, but they get a bit worn and ragged. Still, the walk is pretty, and for birders, this area is quite a hot-spot. In this area, if you have time for only one stop, I would recommend Giant Cedars down the road. When the snow flies, I believe they close it, so plan accordingly.
