The flowers at the top and the hiking trails made this a great place to spend the morning. The smoke was disappointing which affected the views, but we will be back.

The drive up the mountain is an adventure in itself. You travel up narrow switchbacks and get a spectacular view of Revelstoke on the way. The meadow at the top of the mountain features a few different trails. The Vistas are breathtaking. There are a...More

Drive up is fine and gets really pretty the higher you go. Lots of places to stop and admire views or take photos. Parking at the top is limited but you can get a spot by the side of the road if necessary. The 2nd...More

Visited in mid-August and the wild flowers were incredible. Views were good and would have been even better if there'd been less smoke!

What a fantastic display of wildflowers in alpine meadows. Watch out for the black/deer flies though, they are pretty hungry, and will not leave you alone, wear long sleeves, and long pants and take a cap or hat to swat at them.

This is a unique opportunity to get to the top of a mountain without having to climb it! The views are spectacular and the wildflowers along the road and at the top are beautiful. One thing, BRING BUG SPRAY. The horseflies are horrendous and could...More

This place is awesome... the shorter hikes give a flavour as to what to expect on the longer trails to Eva and Miller lakes! Beautiful alpine flowers and great views pack a punch!

We went at the beginning of August with our 8&10 year old. The flowers were beautiful and in full bloom. The kids liked the activity book that they handed out at the gate and got a dog tag necklace for completing 3 activities. Nice bonus...More

Yes should be as Spring was late, there was still serious snow on the top on July 1st. So flowers are late and you'll probably get the tail end of the best of it in the next two weeks

It was not open three weeks ago when we were there. You could call ask the tourist office in Revelstoke but the guy was about as much use as a chocolate watch when we visited.

Because we have had a great deal of snow this year, you may find that even getting up to the 'meadows' this year could be very challenging due to the large amount of snow at that elevation - especially in June.
