The Lochside Regional Trail is also great for biking, walking and jogging! It even goes all the way to the Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal!

The Lochside Trail is a mix of dirt, paved trails, and paved roads. When on the road, there are no sidewalks and on a wet day you have to keep dodging cars by getting off the road and stepping into the mud. When on the...More

This is a great location for a casual stroll or a bike ride along the waters edge, as the trail follows along through a lovely park like setting. Worth taking time to take a casual stroll to enjoy the sites & sounds!

This trail is very well cared for and a lovely path to cycle along through quiet areas, just far enough from the main highway to let you feel that you are in the country. We would highly recommend using this cycle path.

We enjoyed our early morning walks along the Lochside. The gardens--both wild and cultivated--were lovely. The sea like a mirror reflected the morning sky. A wonderful free activity.

Anyone visiting Sidney will enjoy the beautiful trail along the waterfront. The trail was bordered by California Lilac, roses and poppies in full bloom. We had the opportunity to see seals, otters and geese as well as many kayakers and boats at sea.

Marina, beach, shell hunting, kayaking, as you walk. Walk past the USA/Canada Sidney/Anacortez Ferry, Picnic areas and handy benches, beautiful flowers...More

My wife and I are not regular bike riders, but we do take a ride out to Sidney every so often. More often than not, we walk the Lochside Trail. We will often take a walk out to the farms and birdwatch or divert over...More
