This is a small aviation museum but what makes it great is your very own personal tour guide. Aaron knew everything about everything there. His knowledge was vast. Learned a ton! Also saw a Fu-go bomb in real life. I've only ever heard about those, they have one! Got to sit in a plane. Lots to see here. We stopped... More

The Victoria Aviation Museum is small and quaint, ran by volunteers and not possessing the greatest collection of aircraft. The spitfire was nice but it's teeth were pulled (guns removed). They had a Douglas Invader but it was the firefighting version (??). They had a Shooting Star you can sit in but it's the trainer version. Lots of model airplanes,... More

Just finished an excellent guided tour at the BC Aviation Museum. Gordon, our volunteer guide, provided the perfect balance of human interest stories and technical information. Highly recommend a stop here!

One of the last times took an elderly cancer patient who always dreamed of flying a Spitfire but was too young at the time. It was wonderful for him as well as me, especially when discovering the slightly... More

Spent an hour+ here today and found this museum to be well set up and the volunteers very friendly and informative. A very 'hands on' museum with a nice gift shop as well.

It is quite unbelievable that a relatively small museum such as this would hold so much Canadian, specifically BC, aviation history. Who knew that the first Canadian-designed airplane flew right here in Victoria and it's history is here in this museum? Or one of only a total of 18 flying boats made, the Eastman "Sea Rover" resides here. Get one... More

They have a wide variety of aircraft and artifacts that cover the history of aviation in BC. They are wonderfully arranged and displayed so as to maximize their viewing and interact ability. They have cool displays for the kids of all ages. Make sure to avail yourself of the tour guides. They are a wealth of knowledge and folklore. The... More

For a good look into our aviation past - close up and personal. Many aircraft of various vintage. Some of which were resurected to the point of being mechanically sound.
