Took me back to flying in the 1950s & 60s.especialy my first flt to Hawaii. Can't believe we actually flew on such aircraft -- more like a 'tin can'! But boy, loved the spacious leg room & space to put one's suitcase under one's seat. Obvious pride and tender loving care by those re-bldg the many planes on site. the... More

Took the kids here on Saturday afternoon and had such a good time! Our guide showed us all the places where the kids could climb and play and sit in planes, all the while giving us a great history of all of the planes. The guide even opened up the back hangar so that our kids could watch some planes... More

The exhibits are housed in two hangers plus an outdoor display and a restoration shop with guided tours. Aircraft and full scale replicas date from the first aircraft built in BC up to the days of the Viscount Turbo-Prop airliner. The restoration shop is presently building a replica of the first successful seaplane built in Vancouver, B.C. The Victoria airfield... More

Our Family spent a friendly hour or two with a personal guided tour (included in entrance fee). 5 year old Grandson really enjoyed being able to sit in planes and he also tried out the flight simulator. A good visit for your young children and aviation buffs.

We were very impressed with our stop at this museum, and if you are interested in aviation, it is well worthwhile. Our guide, Lyle, was very knowledgeable and gave us a thorough and informative tour of three hangers. We saw military memorabilia, and a wide variety of aircraft. Lyle was able to answer all of our questions, and we commented... More

This museum was a great surprise. The displays are numerous and excellent. The volunteer guides are very knowledgeable and eager to show visitors the most interesting details. Of course.....you have to be interested in aeroplanes and the history of flight.
