When the roads are getting busy, taking a ferry can really take hours off your trip. Efficient and easy to use.

Overall we enjoyed the 4 days but felt because we booked through BC Ferries we were treated as second class citizens by the hotels. Breakfast was not included in the packages and for the price of breakfast it feels like nickle and diming, In the...More

If you have one of the newer vessels, it is very pleasant. We even slowed down for a orca sighting! Especially if you are able to avoid Friday or Sunday evenings, you don't even really need a reservation. We will sometimes go to the Pacific...More

Using the ferries to get to vancouver island is very peaceful, lots of wild life to see on a good day. The food is over price though as it is a tourist trap for people buying things from them. It is the best way to...More

Took a ferry to the island, not cheap but fun. You can enjoy the scenery well you are eating. If you don't wish to do that, you can just sit back and relax for approximately 1 1/2 hour ride. There is nothing like being on...More

The trip from Sidney BC on Vancouver Island was efficiently and pleasantly handled. The boat passage took us between several islands and partly through US waters and was interesting. Disembarkation at the mainland was quick and trouble-free.More

Dear Ruth5757, We appreciate the review! I’m pleased to hear you enjoyed sailing with us from Swartz Bay to Tsawwassen. I have to admit, the view between the Gulf and neighboring San Juan Islands is truly spectacular and never gets old! When you’re traveling with...More

Hi, I'm going to be using the BC Ferries service to get back and forth between Vancouver and Victoria. How is the passage? Has everyone experienced a pretty smooth sailing without a lot of rocking back and forth? I do not like boats.

You are in the inside passage and do not normally see waves and swells which cause the rocking. You should be fine.
