A must visit on the way to Whistler
This is a beautiful waterfall which is located on the sea to sky highway to Whistler. In the summers the parking lot gets filled up very quickly so make sure you reach there before noon. There are two viewing points and the higher viewing point gives a much better view of the waterfall.

    Stunning waterfall
Beautiful and stunning, this waterfall will not disappoint. It is huge, literally. One of the biggest we have seen. Surrounding forest is really stunning too, well worth a visit. Unfortunately the area gets busy with tourists, so maybe get there early or later in the day.

Easy walk to a stunning falls.
Beautiful. It's a nice easy walk up to the falls, although the main viewing area does get exceptionally busy with everyone looking for that magical photo. There are a number of trails in the area for the hiker. Definitely worth a visit if you are passing either to/from Vancouver/Whistler on the main highway.

A great setting, an easy walk from the parking lot to the falls and back is less than 30 minutes. Great photo opportunities, up some additional stairs to view the large falls. Washrooms are available and there is also a small gift shop part way up to the falls.

    Spectacular Waterfall
Well worth the short hike--we love waterfalls and this one did not disappoint. The trails were good and there were good spots to photograph. Only negative was the main restrooms were closed (smell from the septic was bad).

An easy walk for a great view.
A must see in Squamish. Easy access from the Sea to Sky highway. A short walk to view the falls. We went during a dry season so there was not as much water. I was told you can feel the water from the falls when there is rain. It is a tall falls and we did see some rock climbers. This is a scenic area much like the rest of the area.

    Nice views!
We had a quick stop (20 mintues) here on our way to the Sea to Sky Gondola. Luckily we were on a bus tour, otherwise we would have struggled to get a parking spot. However, I suppose that's the way it is on a Sunday in summer! Due to our short stay here, I wasn't able to make the walk up to the falls (due to a bad knee). My husband made the walk up and back and said that the path was quite steep in places. There is an open grassy area, suitable for picnicing.

    Spectacular Falls Worth A Stop
This is a specular waterfall that attracts quite a crowd. There is a short trail alongside the river that carries the water from the falls that goes through the forest. Allow at least 45 minutes or longer to see the falls. There are clean washrooms available. If you want to walk a bit, there are gondolas that carry people to the top of the mountain. Unfortunately, we drove to the gondola parking, but it was overflowing onto the highway. This attraction is worth a stop if you are going to Squamish.

    A very easy-to-spot large waterfall
It takes about 5 minutes to walk from the parking lot to the first viewpoint. There are dry toilets at the entrance, and a few steps further inside, there are regular restrooms. In terms of lighting, it's best to visit in the afternoon when the sunlight shines directly on it, making it more beautiful. In the morning, it's more backlit. Climbing a few steps up the mountain will take you to the second viewpoint.

A great, quick hike to look at the 3rd tallest falls in BC. The trail is very easy to maneuver with interpretive signs along the way. Lots of interesting places to explore. Not a lot of water in Feb so the creek bed was fun to poke around in.

I stopped here while driving by. Parking wasn’t easy as it was crowded. The trail was short and a super easy walk. It’s not exactly fall and it’s more like water running rapidly down the mountain side. But it’s very cool to see.

I can imagine how spectacular this waterfall looks like on a rainy day or as the snow up the surrounding mountains melts, providing it with abundant water supply. In summer, however, its water is reduced to almost just a trickle. It still looks nice, but not as spectacular as it can be. The park also easily gets full and finding a slot is a bit of a challenge. In this case, I suggest that you park at the Sea to Sky Gondola ride parking area instead, which is just 600 meters away. From there, you can follow a trail that leads to the Shannon Falls Park. The walk is safe, lovely and relaxing, I assure you. Highly recommended!
